Handbag / Soft Accessories Designer

About the role

The designer will be supporting the THNA Accessories team, working on Handbags and Soft Accessories (socks, hats, scarves, cold weather accessories) for Outlet and Off-Price. The ideal candidate will be a team player, detail oriented, proactive, organized and able to multitask and work in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Adobe Illustrator sketches and color ups
• Pitch/Scale artwork for soft accessories
• Update previous styles/technical specs for new season
• Make CAD/art updates for proto samples and add sample comments in PLM
• BOM updates in PLM considerations

Requirements

• 3‑4 years of fashion design experience (accessories preferred, apparel considered)
• Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in Fashion Design
• Design experience with an inherent understanding of the design process
• Proficient knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Web PLM (Centric PLM preferred)
• Strong organization, communication and time‑management skills
• Ability to work both collaboratively and independently

Schedule

In‑office Monday‑Thursday in New York City, with remote work on Friday; flexibility to come in as needed.
