About the role
As a Night Auditor, you’ll be the behind-the-scenes hero who keeps things running smoothly during the overnight shift (11 PM – 7 AM). You’ll balance the books, handle guest check-ins, ensure property security, and prepare daily reports—all while delivering top-notch hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests with warmth and efficiency during overnight hours, handling check-ins, reservations, and late-night inquiries.
- Perform the Night Audit: balance financial transactions, finalize daily books, and ensure accuracy in all records.
- Conduct regular security walks to maintain a safe and secure property.
- Prepare the Daily Flash Report and other operational reports for management.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and high service standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues independently using proficiency in Windows, spreadsheets, and word processing.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in hospitality or a related field is beneficial.
- 1+ year of experience in a hotel or related field.
- Supervisory experience is a plus.
