HalloWeekends Screamster

$14.25/hour, increasing to $19.25/hour beginning September 21st for eligible employees. Must remain active through October 26th to qualify for bonus pay; incentive paid out after November 1st.

About the role

At Cedar Point's HalloWeekends, you’ll entertain and scare guests as a costumed character (Screamster) in one of our haunted attractions. Live Entertainment provides costumes and professional makeup artists to apply prosthetics and airbrush makeup.

Responsibilities

• Wear theatrical makeup, prosthetics, and a costume as a defined character.
• Entertain guests through hand/body movements and vocalization.
• Rehearse and perform the role of a monster as originally scripted or conceived.
• Interact in a frightening way to entertain guests by portraying a defined character.

Requirements

• Ages 16+.
• Availability to work some weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Good judgement and a commitment to safety.
• Ability to work and interact with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Passion and excitement about Cedar Point.
