About the role

Cedar Point is seeking individuals to join their team as part of the Live Entertainment department. Positions start at $15/hour with an additional $5/hour available beginning September 21st. The role is open to those aged 18 and above.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm and welcoming environment for a diverse range of guests.
• Maintain and run technical elements for all Live Entertainment shows including audio, lighting, video.
• Construct, repair, and launder costume and prop pieces to support daily show operations.
• Deliver amazing live performances through song, dance, and storytelling.
• Bring beloved characters to life wearing fully covered, head-to-toe costumes.
• Aid park guests in entering and exiting shows and assist in cleaning and maintaining facilities between shows.
• Guide and maintain the appearance of costume characters in shows and throughout the park.

Requirements

• Ability to work flexible hours including weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Passionate about creating memorable experiences for guests.
• Good judgment and a commitment to safety.
• Ability to interact with people from diverse backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Individuals with a passion for Cedar Point and its culture.
• Experience in performing arts, entertainment, or related fields is preferred but not required.

Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
