Hallmark Merchandiser (part-time) West Lebanon, NH 03784

As a Field Merchandiser, you'll work independently to showcase your organization and time management skills, your ability to establish retailer relationships, and represent Hallmark in local stores. You will collaborate with store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations.

Salary and Schedule Details

• Starting hourly pay rate: $17.00 to $19.00, depending on skills and experience
• Paid training delivered through live, hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training
• Part-time position with a variable schedule during the work week
• Average weekly hours: 11–20 hours per week
• Availability required the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends
• Availability to support season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support
• Eligible employees receive annual pay increases

Responsibilities

• Perform service work in the Hallmark department of various retail stores (grocery, drug, department, and mass retailers)
• Day-to-day engagement:
  • Restock, organize, and monitor inventory of Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department using a Hallmark-provided mobile device
  • Use technology for communication, time reporting, feedback, and completing required merchandising activities
  • Maintain professional and courteous interactions with store employees, management, and customers
  • Responsible for the entire Hallmark product display at assigned stores
• Holiday support:
  • Expect additional days and extended hours leading up to and following major holidays (Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas)
  • May be required to work on holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, and Father’s Day, including weekends
• Department resets:
  • Participate in team-based installations, including building and installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments, and resetting card sections
  • Typically notified two weeks in advance for remodel assignments, which may include evenings or weekends
• Support fellow team members in their territories as part of Hallmark’s field organization

Physical Requirements

• Physically demanding role requiring high energy and a sense of urgency
• Work on the selling floor and in back stockrooms
• Consistently push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds throughout the workday and up to 50 pounds on occasion
• Kneel, squat, walk, and stand throughout the workday
• May be required to climb stairs and step ladders

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Able to read, write, and understand English
• Ability to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally
• Able to operate a digital hand-held device to open and read documents and interpret information
• Access to a Wi-Fi network and the internet
• Access to consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled
