Hallmark Merchandiser (part-time) The Woodlands, TX 77380
Overview
As a Merchandiser you will work independently to showcase your organization and time‑management skills, establish retailer relationships, and serve as the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations when needed. Occasionally you may also work with products from other companies in the stores you service.
Salary and Schedule
The starting hourly pay rate is $12.00‑$14.00 per hour, based on skills and experience. This is a part‑time position with a variable schedule. Average weekly hours are 10‑12. Availability the week before and after major holidays (including weekends) is required, as is availability to support season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.

Responsibilities
- Day‑to‑day engagement: Use a Hallmark‑provided mobile device to restock, organize, and monitor inventory of Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department; communicate with supervisors, report time, provide feedback, and complete required surveys.
- Professional interaction: Maintain courteous, professional relationships with store employees, management, and customers.
- Holiday support: Provide additional days and extended hours around major holidays (Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas); may be required to work on the holiday itself, including weekends.
- Department resets: Participate in installations, build and install Hallmark fixtures, relocate card departments and products, and reset card sections; advance notice of approximately two weeks for remodel assignments, which may include evenings or weekends.
- Team collaboration: Support other merchandisers in your territory as needed.
Physical Requirements
This role is physically demanding. You must be able to consistently push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 lb throughout the workday and up to 50 lb on occasion. You will also be required to kneel, squat, walk, stand, and may need to climb stairs and step ladders.
Basic Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to read, write, and understand English
- Capability to lift 30 lb frequently and 50 lb occasionally
- Proficiency with a digital hand‑held device for reading documents and interpreting information
- Access to a Wi‑Fi network and the internet
- Reliable transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled
