About the role

As a Merchandiser, you'll work independently to showcase your organization and time management skills, establish retailer relationships, and be the face of Hallmark. You'll collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory levels, and support fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations when needed. On occasion you may work with other companies' products in the stores you service.

Responsibilities

• Perform service work in the Hallmark department of various retail stores (grocery, drug, department, mass retailers).
• Day‑to‑day engagement: use a Hallmark‑provided mobile device to restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark product inventory inside and outside the Hallmark department; use technology for communication with supervisors, reporting time, providing feedback, and completing surveys; maintain professional and courteous interaction with store employees, management, and customers; be responsible for the entire Hallmark product display at your assigned stores.
• Holiday support: leading up to and following holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, expect additional days and extended hours; may be required to work on the actual holiday, which may include weekends.
• Department resets: participate in team installations, building and installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections; typically notified two weeks in advance for remodel assignments, which may include evenings or weekends.
• One Team Vision: as part of Hallmark’s field organization, support other team members as needed within your territory.
• Physical requirements: consistently push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 lb throughout the workday and up to 50 lb occasionally; kneel, squat, walk, stand; may need to climb stairs and use step ladders.
