About the role

To learn more about this role, watch our merchandisers in action. As a Merchandiser, you'll have the opportunity to work independently to showcase your organization and time management skills, your ability to establish retailer relationships, while being the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory levels as well as support fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations, when needed. On occasion you may have the opportunity to work with other products from other companies in the stores that you service.

Responsibilities

• Perform service work in the Hallmark department of various retail stores (grocery, drug, department, mass retailers).
• Day‑to‑day engagement: using a mobile device provided by Hallmark, restock, organize, and monitor inventory of Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department.
• Use technology for communication with your supervisor, reporting time, providing feedback, and answering surveys for required merchandising activities.
• Maintain professional and courteous interaction with store employees, management, and customers.
• Be responsible for the entire Hallmark product display at your assigned stores.
• Holiday support: work additional days and extended hours leading up to and following holidays (Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas); may be required to work on the actual holiday, which may include weekends.
• Department resets: participate in team installations, building and installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments and products, resetting card sections; typically notified two weeks in advance for remodel assignments (may include evenings or weekends).
