Role and Responsibilities
- Perform service work in the Hallmark department of various retail stores such as grocery stores, drug stores, department stores, and mass retailers.
- Utilize a mobile device provided by Hallmark to restock, organize, and monitor the inventory of Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department.
- Communicate with your supervisor, report time, provide feedback, and answer surveys for required merchandising activities.
- Engage in professional and courteous interactions with store employees, management, and customers.
- Manage the entire Hallmark product display at your assigned stores.
- Support holiday operations leading up to and following holidays such as Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
- Participate in department resets, including installations and various tasks like building and installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections.
- Collaborate with other team members as needed in your territories.
Physical Requirements
- High level of energy and a sense of urgency.
- Working on the selling floor and in back stockrooms.
- Consistently pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds throughout the workday and up to 50 pounds on occasion.
- Kneeling, squatting, walking, and standing throughout your workday.
- May be required to climb stairs and step ladders.
Basic Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age.
- Able to read, write, and understand English.
- Able to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
- Able to operate a digital handheld device to open and read documents and interpret information.
- Access to a Wi-Fi network and the internet.
- Access to consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
Pay and Schedule Details
- Starting hourly pay rate will be $16.00 to $18.00 depending on your skills and experience.
- Paid training, delivered through live, hands-on instruction as well as virtual classroom training.
- Voluntary benefits that include medical, dental, vision, critical illness, accident insurance, hospital indemnity, and minimum essential coverage (preventive care).
- Annual pay increases for eligible employees.
- This is a Part-Time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
- Average weekly hours for this position are between 10 - 12 hours per week.
- Availability the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends is required.
- Availability to support season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.
