Role and Responsibilities

  • Perform service work in the Hallmark department of various retail stores such as grocery stores, drug stores, department stores, and mass retailers.
  • Utilize a mobile device provided by Hallmark to restock, organize, and monitor the inventory of Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department.
  • Communicate with your supervisor, report time, provide feedback, and answer surveys for required merchandising activities.
  • Engage in professional and courteous interactions with store employees, management, and customers.
  • Be responsible for the entire Hallmark product display at your assigned stores.
  • Support holiday operations leading up to and following holidays such as Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
  • Participate in department resets, installations, and various tasks like building and installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections.
  • Support other team members as needed in their territories.

Physical Requirements

  • High level of energy and a sense of urgency.
  • Working on the selling floor and in back stockrooms.
  • Consistently pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds throughout the workday and up to 50 pounds on occasion.
  • Kneeling, squatting, walking, and standing throughout your workday.
  • May be required to climb stairs and step ladders.

Basic Qualifications

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Able to read, write, and understand English.
  • Able to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Able to operate a digital handheld device to open and read documents and interpret information.
  • Access to a Wi-Fi network and the internet.
  • Access to consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.

Schedule and Benefits

  • This is a Part-Time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
  • Average weekly hours for this position are between 8-12 hours per week.
  • Availability the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends is required.
  • Availability to support season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.
