About the role
The Hall Director oversees all aspects of student life in the residence hall, including safety, security, and community building.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe and secure living environment for students
- Facilitate community building activities and events
- Collaborate with other campus departments to support student success
- Manage hall staff and ensure their professional development
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in student affairs or related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work evenings and weekends
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Experience with conflict resolution and problem-solving
- Knowledge of student behavior management
Skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
