Haitian Creole Linguist - Transcription and Translation

About the role

GeoPoll is a mobile research and AI data company operating across more than 120 countries. We are expanding our Haitian Creole audio work and need experienced linguists to start immediately.

Responsibilities

• Post-edit AI-generated Haitian Creole transcripts for accuracy, completeness, and language quality.
• Transcribe Haitian Creole audio from scratch on our transcription platform where required.
• Translate and review Haitian Creole transcripts into English on our translation platform.
• Apply timestamps and follow our formatting and quality standards.
• Meet agreed turnaround times on a rolling delivery schedule.

Requirements

• Native or near-native Haitian Creole.
• Strong written English.
• Prior transcription or translation experience, ideally with audio.
• Comfort working on web-based transcription and translation tools.
• High attention to detail and consistency across long files.
• A reliable computer, stable internet, and headphones.
• Availability to start now and handle consistent volume.

Engagement

• Freelance and fully remote.
• Paid per audio hour, based on task and experience.
