The Hair Stylist enriches the lives of our patients/residents by elevating their self-image through beautician services.

Responsibilities

• Perform haircuts, shampoos, and permanents as desired by patients/residents and/or families.
• Provide manicures or pedicures as requested.
• Maintain daily records in coordination with the business office of patient/resident beautician charges.
• Manage inventory of beauty supplies based on supply and demand.
• Ensure compliance with all OSHA and safety standards, adhere to HIPAA confidentiality standards, and follow infection control protocols.

Requirements

• Certification by the State Board of Cosmetology is required.
• A minimum of two years' experience in hair care/beautician services is required.
• Ability to interact tactfully with patients/residents (some with impaired cognition), family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.
