About the role

Join a locally owned Great Clips® salon, the world's largest salon brand, and be one of the GREATS! Whether you're new to the industry or have years of experience, great opportunities await at the Best Barber Shop in Fairfax (FFXNow Readers’ Choice 2026).

Pay

Earn $25–$30/hour (hourly wage + tips + product commission) with a guaranteed $15/hour base pay. Additional earnings include 10% retail product commission and other incentives.

Schedule

Up to 40 hours/week available. Weekend availability required (Sundays priority). Option to work at both Reston & Fairfax locations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality haircuts in 14–17 minutes
• Comfortably recommend products to clients
• Maintain a team-oriented and reliable work environment

Requirements

• Cosmetology License and/or Barber License (licensing requirements vary by state/province)
• Passion for building genuine connections with customers and providing GREAT haircuts
• Desire to deliver a consistent Great Clips® brand experience (training provided)
• Ability to work with teammates to develop a supportive and positive salon vibe
• Prior Great Clips experience preferred
