The role of Habilitation Worker involves providing support to individuals with disabilities in their daily activities, promoting independence, and ensuring safety.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with disabilities in performing daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
• Ensure the physical and emotional safety of the individuals under care.
• Collaborate with families and other professionals to develop and implement individualized support plans.
• Document progress and communicate regularly with supervisors and clients.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• Pass a background check and criminal history review.

Skills

• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
