Haas / Knee Mill Machinist - 2nd Shift

JOB DESCRIPTION

2nd shift: Monday through Thursday 3pm-1am

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Must be able to independently setup, program and operate Haas Mills, Knee Mills and other equipment.
• Machine complex, high tolerance parts and components from blueprints and models.
• Verify dimensions, alignments and clearances of finished parts for conformance to specifications using measuring instruments such as calipers, gage blocks, micrometers and dial calipers.
• Visualize and compute dimensions, sizes, shapes, and tolerances based on specifications.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• 3+ years of machining experience.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and other shop drawing aids.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent attendance and a positive, 'can do' attitude.

THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE IS A PLUS BUT NOT REQUIRED

• Solidworks and/or MasterCAM experience.
• EDM experience.
• Previous tool room experience.

COMPENSATION

• This is a full time position in the competitive and challenging metal manufacturing field.
• The pay range/rate of pay for this position may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training and/or experience.
• Second Shift Premium
