About the role
The incoming physician will provide high-quality care in both outpatient and inpatient settings, diagnosing and managing a broad range of conditions—from infections and menstrual irregularities to hormone imbalances and gynecological cancers. The successful candidate will perform essential wellness exams (pap smears, pelvic, and breast exams) and will have the opportunity for surgical procedures involving the uterus, pelvic organs, and cervix trained in advanced laparoscopic surgery and robotics.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive gynecological care in both outpatient and inpatient settings
- Perform pap smears, pelvic, and breast exams
- Manage a broad range of gynecological conditions
- Supervise Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
- Perform surgical procedures involving the uterus, pelvic organs, and cervix
- Train in advanced laparoscopic surgery and robotics
Requirements
- Board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- At least two years of practice experience
- Experience supervising APPs
- Comfortable working in a supportive environment
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Current NY State Medical License
- Passing score on the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners (NBOME) or equivalent
