Prime Healthcare’s St. Mary of Nazareth Hospital (a 361-bed safety-net hospital on the West Side) and Resurrection Medical Center (a well-established teaching hospital on the Northwest Side) are expanding gynecologic oncology services with the backing of a nationally recognized health system.

About the role

We seek a board-certified or board-eligible Gynecologic Oncologist to provide comprehensive surgical, medical, and multidisciplinary care for women with gynecologic malignancies (ovarian, uterine, cervical, and other reproductive cancers). You’ll perform complex and minimally invasive/robotic procedures, oversee chemotherapy and targeted therapies, and collaborate closely with medical oncology, radiation oncology, pathology, and supportive care teams.

Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gynecologic Oncology (must have completed an ACGME-accredited 3-year Gynecologic Oncology fellowship following a 4-year OB/GYN residency)
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Eligible for an unrestricted medical license in the state of Illinois
  • Strong surgical skills, including experience with minimally invasive and robotic techniques (preferred)
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality care to a diverse patient population in a community hospital setting

Pay

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $450,000 to $550,000 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, considering factors such as skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
