Gymnastics Program Coordinator- Full Time

About the role

We are seeking a gymnastics program coordinator to join our team at the Y. Our days are dedicated to positively impacting the community, helping children reach their full potential, and making a difference.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver gymnastics programs for members
• Assist with coaching responsibilities for the competitive team program
• Train and supervise staff and volunteers
• Schedule and organize birthday parties specific to gymnastics
• Ensure safety and cleanliness of the program area
• Adhere to YMCA safety standards and rules
• Coordinate or conduct evaluations of program skills and progress reports
• Incorporate character development objectives into the program
• Ensure all participants have exited the facility and the area is clean and orderly
• Provide excellent service to members and participants
• Attend staff meetings and trainings
• Complete timely incident, complaint, or compliment reports

Requirements

• Age 21+
• 5+ years of experience in gymnastics
• Nationally recognized gymnastics certifications
• USAG Safety Certification
• Strong communication skills
• Positive relationship with parents
• Leadership skills
• Ability to work with others
• Sensitivity to others
• Ability to concentrate and attend to details

Qualifications

• College degree preferred or equivalent experience

• Knowledge of gymnastics competitions

• $17.00-$21.00 per hour
