Gymnastics Assistants - Competitive Team (Temporary/Multiple Vacancies)

About the role

The Department of Parks & Recreation (DPR) is seeking Gymnastics Assistants for multiple temporary positions. These roles support instructors and work with children and adults in the Gymnastics Program.

Responsibilities

• Aid instructors in providing safe, fun, and high-quality gymnastics instruction.
• Support Competitive Team programs.
• Work with participants ranging from Development Program Levels 3–10 to Xcel/Club Levels Silver–Diamond (Platinum for Tigers).
• Compete at local, state, regional, and national levels under the guidance of experienced instructors.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with gymnastics or related field preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of gymnastics techniques and safety standards.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Passing a background check.
