About the role
St. Francis Xavier Catholic School is accepting applications for an Grade 8 teacher for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year.
Responsibilities
- Teach physical education classes to students in Grades 8
- Implement the school's physical education curriculum
- Ensure student safety and supervision during physical activities
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff members
- Follow the guidelines set forth by the Archdiocese of Philadelphia regarding child protection
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or related field
- Valid teaching certification in Pennsylvania
- Experience teaching physical education at the secondary level
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
