Gym Cleaning Associate

About the Role

We are looking for a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Gym Cleaning Associate to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our members and staff. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, has a strong eye for cleanliness, and understands the importance of maintaining a high standard of hygiene in a fitness facility.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize gym equipment, machines, and high-touch surfaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors throughout the facility.
• Clean and disinfect locker rooms, showers, restrooms, and common areas.
• Empty trash and recycling bins and replace liners.
• Keep cleaning supplies and equipment organized and properly stored.
• Monitor the facility for areas requiring additional cleaning or attention.
• Help maintain a fresh, clean, and pleasant environment for members.
• Follow proper cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.
• Report maintenance issues, damaged equipment, or safety concerns to management.
• Perform additional cleaning and facility-maintenance tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean environment.
• Able to work independently and follow instructions.
• Comfortable working around fitness equipment and in a busy gym environment.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, and lift as required for cleaning duties.
• Previous cleaning or janitorial experience is a plus, but not required.
