Guitar instructor needed in Sun City Center, FL

About the role

Taylor Robinson Music is seeking private music instructors for guitar lessons in the Sun City Center, FL area. Lessons can occur in the students' homes, in the instructor's home or studio, or via webcam. The position is independent contractor-based with pay ranging from $20-$30 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Teach guitar lessons to students in the Sun City Center, FL area
• Adapt lesson plans based on student needs and preferences
• Communicate regularly with the office about scheduling and progress
• Set your own schedule and curriculum
• Ensure all students are wearing masks, sanitizing hands, and practicing social distancing when applicable

Requirements

• Great with kids and passionate about teaching
• Organized and punctual for all lessons
• Must have either a degree in music, be enrolled in a music program, have professional performing experience, or have previous teaching experience

Qualifications

• Ability to teach guitar lessons independently
• Willingness to travel to students in the Sun City Center, FL area if necessary

Skills

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to adapt lesson plans to individual student needs
• Experience with remote teaching (webcam lessons)
