About the role
This position involves leading music and arts programs within the corps, planning and implementing curriculum, and organizing musical performances and community activities.
Responsibilities
- Lead music and other arts programs as assigned within the corps.
- Plan and implement weekly music lessons for assigned classes.
- Attend and prepare for all corps recitals and music programs for the end-of-year concert.
- Encourage participants to achieve goals and enhance their self-esteem through musical development.
- Organize and participate in summer camps to foster further talent development and spiritual growth.
- Help plan and assist with summer music day camps.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in music preferred, or extensive experience teaching music.
- Experience: At least two years of music experience working with children and adults.
