ISM EXPERIENCE
Our real vision as a music school: Empower musical voices. We don’t sell books or rent instruments. Each and every lesson is tailored to each and every musician’s unique goals. Our faculty teaches the Irvine School of Music Core Curriculum, which includes healthy technique, listening (aural skills) development, and theoretical knowledge. This strong foundation empowers students to tackle advanced music and various musical idioms, including Classical, Jazz, and Pop. We offer enrichment programs that focus on long-term success, such as performance opportunities, medal-level programs, and practice incentive programs. Our faculty is carefully selected based on extensive teaching experience and the ability to meet the specific needs of our students. Music-making is central to the lesson, but the unique goals of each student – whether a beginner piano student, an adult voice student, or a budding songwriter – are the focal point of instruction.
