About the role
Guidewire Developer – Policy Center is responsible for implementing and maintaining Guidewire PolicyCenter systems for clients in the Americas region. This role requires extensive experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter configuration, implementation, and integration.
Responsibilities
- Implementing Guidewire PolicyCenter for clients in the Americas, including both new implementations and migrations from on-premises to cloud-based solutions.
- Designing and developing PCFs, Business rules, Data models, and Gunits to meet client requirements.
- Integrating Guidewire PolicyCenter with external custom portals to enhance functionality and user experience.
- Utilizing Guidewire's Cloud Data Access platform and working with GOSU, REST services, message queues, and batch processes to ensure efficient data management and processing.
- Providing technical support and troubleshooting to ensure smooth operation of Guidewire PolicyCenter systems.
- Maintaining and enhancing existing Guidewire PolicyCenter configurations based on client feedback and technological advancements.
Requirements
- ACE Certified in Guidewire PolicyCenter Configuration.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter implementation, specifically for a Tier 1 insurer in the US.
- At least 2 full life cycle Guidewire PolicyCenter implementations in Personal Lines or Commercial Lines.
- Hands-on experience in designing and developing PCFs, Business rules, Data models, and Gunits.
- Experience in integrating Guidewire PolicyCenter with external custom portals.
- Experience with Guidewire's Cloud Data Access platform.
- Experience with GOSU, REST services, message queues, and batch processes.
- A strong understanding of the Property and Casualty (P&C) domain and experience in implementing various integration and digital technology solutions.
Qualifications
- Must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven track record of successful Guidewire PolicyCenter implementations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and colleagues.
