Guest Services Attendant

About the role

Highland Park Golf Course in Birmingham, Alabama, is seeking a part-time Guest Services Attendant to join its fast-paced hospitality-focused team. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a globally recognized leader in golf and community management as part of Troon.

Responsibilities

• Assists with the overall upkeep of the clubhouse, cart storage area, and parking lot.
• Assists in the setup and execution of golf tournaments and outings.
• Provides sincere and courteous service to guests, including bag handling and club cleaning.
• Maintains the cart staging area, podium, and bag drop area in a neat and orderly fashion.
• Maintains the cart storage and cart wash-down areas in a clean and orderly condition.
• Prepares golf carts for play according to Troon Golf standards.
• Assists in educating players on course policy, cart policy, and speed of play.
• Performs range maintenance, including presenting practice facilities with balls, bag stands, den caddies, and ball pyramids, and maintains ball inventory throughout the day.
• Directs the start of play when necessary.
• Cleans golfers' clubs upon completion of play.
• Incorporates safe work practices in all job performance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications

• One month of related experience or training.

• Regular and reliable attendance.
