About the Role
To deliver clean, safe golf carts to guests and provide first-class customer service at all times.
Responsibilities
- Understand and respond to all guest needs and requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Greet guests upon arrival with a clean, safe, and properly stocked golf cart, and assist them with their golf bags.
- Maintain an ample and orderly supply of golf carts in designated areas.
- Approach guests at the end of their round to clean their clubs and assist them in returning their golf carts.
- Perform routine daily tasks, including collecting and cleaning range balls, storing, cleaning, and charging golf carts, removing trash from staging areas, and opening/closing the bag room and golf cart storage area.
- Monitor the cleanliness, order, safety, and aesthetic quality of the property, reporting service needs immediately.
- Participate in the setup and breakdown of clubhouse and golf special events.
- Transport golf carts to and from cart staging and storage areas as needed.
- Advise the supervisor of any customer complaints for professional resolution.
- Be knowledgeable about all goods and services offered by the golf course and actively promote them to guests.
- Engage in daily cleaning and repairs/maintenance of the golf cart fleet, ensuring proper record-keeping.
- Maintain the practice area, keeping range balls picked up using the range picker safely and cleaning range balls as needed.
- Issue and retrieve rental clubs, clean clubs after use, and verify all clubs are accounted for and stored properly.
- Clean rental and guests’ shoes and change spikes when necessary.
- Administer daily play policies as a Starter and Player Assistant on the golf course, ensuring the Pace of Play program is followed.
- Assist Cart Mechanics as requested.
- Promote and comply with all policies and procedures of Temecula Creek Inn.
- Immediately report all suspicious occurrences and hazardous conditions.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of work areas at all times.
- Practice safe work habits to avoid injury to self and others, including the safe operation of power-driven machinery.
- Ensure safe work practices of all Golf staff, including compliance with safety rules and proper use of equipment.
- Attend all mandatory meetings as directed.
- Perform other tasks, including cross-training, as directed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Minors attending high school must obtain a work permit (Form B1-1).
- English fluency required.
- Previous resort experience preferred.

- Able to withstand prolonged exposure to the sun.
Pay
$18.00 per hour.
