Join our Festival Foods team as a Part-Time Guest Service Representative! Must be available from 3 PM - 10 PM and have weekend availability.

Responsibilities

As a Guest Service Representative, your responsibilities will include providing excellent guest service, leading by example, reinforcing company culture, and guiding Guest Service associates in daily operations.

  • Provide helpful service, including answering questions and addressing guest concerns
  • Lead by example, uphold guest service standards, and guide Guest Service associates
  • Utilize leadership tools, such as ten tile evaluations and Coach’s Reminder Card
  • Oversee operations, including monitoring Guest Service activity and maintaining department cleanliness and functionality
  • Support the team by directing guests, managing checkout lines, and providing timely overrides or assistance
  • Maintain staffing levels by proactively managing staff coverage and adjusting operations based on business needs
  • Enforce labor laws, including scheduling minor employees for breaks, lunches, and clock-out times
  • Optimize scheduling by adjusting daily schedules based on sales, item movement, and guest traffic
  • Communicate with Shift Managers and manage lane flow to ensure a smooth guest experience
  • Track attendance and utilize the GSR Shift Report to effectively communicate and document lateness or absences
  • Manage cart availability and ensure sufficient carts are available for guests

To succeed as a Guest Service Representative (GSR), you should have strong leadership, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage and inspire a team in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

The physical demands and work environment described below are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

The associate must possess the ability to stand in place for long periods of time, walk in the store, bend, stoop, and kneel regularly. Requires fine finger and broad manual dexterity, and eye-hand-foot coordination to operate equipment. Physical ability to stand for extended periods and move/handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures throughout the store, which entails lifting, and perform all functions as set forth above.
