Guest Service Attendant

Essential Duties

• Aids in maintaining the clubhouse, cart storage area, and parking lot.
• Supports the organization and execution of golf tournaments and outings.
• Provides courteous service to guests, including bag handling and club cleaning.
• Maintains the cart staging area and cart wash down area in an organized manner.
• Prepares golf carts for play according to Troon Golf standards.
• Trains players on course policies, cart policies, and speed of play.
• Assists players with changing golf spikes, if necessary.
• Performs range maintenance tasks such as setting up practice facilities and managing ball inventory.
• Directs the start of play as needed.
• Keeps accurate records of golfers renting clubs and cleans returned rental clubs.
• Assists with food and beverage activities during events.
• Cleans golfers' clubs after play.
• Adheres to safe work practices.
• Ensures regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience

• Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Demands

• Frequently stands, walks, uses hands, talks or hears.
• Occasionally sits, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls or crouches.
• Regularly lifts up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds.

Environment/Noise

• Regularly works in wet or humid conditions (non-weather).
• Occasionally works in areas with moving mechanical parts.
• May come into contact with fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals.
• Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions.

Certificates/Licenses

• Valid Driver’s License.
