Guest Service Associate/Cashier - Mobil Mart

About the role

The Guest Service Associate plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer experiences while managing various operational tasks.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and ensure a positive shopping environment.
• Adhere to safety, security, quality, and operational policies.
• Operate POS systems according to corporate standards.
• Maintain proper cash, lottery, and tobacco levels.
• Perform store housekeeping duties such as cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, etc.
• Replenish products and supplies to ensure in-stock conditions.
• Communicate with store management regarding guest requests and vendor concerns.
• Check in external and internal vendors as per established guidelines.
• Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects as assigned.
• Complete other tasks as directed by management.

Qualifications

• Available to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in various temperature conditions, climb ladders, stairs, reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift/carry up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to access all areas of the store including the selling floor, stock area, and register area.
• Ability to perform duties promptly.
• Ability to count, read, and write accurately to complete required paperwork.
• Support new hire employee onboarding and training.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $16.05 - $19.26 per hour. Final compensation is determined based on experience, qualifications, and other factors.

Schedule

Flexible hours that may include day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
