Guest Service Associate/Cashier - Jiffy Mart
About the role
The Guest Service Associate will greet guests and ensure they have a pleasant shopping experience. This role involves adhering to safety, security, and operational policies, operating the point of sale, performing store housekeeping, replenishing products, communicating with management, and conducting various tasks as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests and provide a positive shopping experience
- Adhere to safety, security, and operational policies
- Operate the point of sale according to corporate standards
- Maintain proper cash, lottery, and tobacco levels
- Complete all store housekeeping functions
- Replenish products and supplies to ensure in-stock conditions
- Communicate with store management regarding guest requests and vendor-related concerns
- Check in external and internal vendors according to established guidelines
- Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects as assigned
- Perform other tasks as directed by management
Requirements
- Available to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must have reliable transportation
- Ability to work in varying temperatures, including outside and cooler environments
- Ability to climb ladders, stairs, reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift/carry up to 25 lbs
- Ability to access all areas of the store including the selling floor, stock area, and register area
- Ability to perform duties promptly
- Ability to count, read, and write accurately to complete required paperwork
Qualifications

Pay
The pay range for this position is $16.51 - $19.94 per hour. The final amount offered at the start of employment is determined based on factors including, but not limited to, experience level, knowledge, skills, abilities, and geographic location. The Company reserves the right to modify base salary at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
