Guest Service Agent

About the role

The Guest Service Agent is responsible for driving guests to and from various local locations as requested by different hotel departments. They also assist the front desk and provide directions to guests.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver guests to various local locations as scheduled by the Guest Service
• Familiarize guests with points of interest, restaurants, activities, and resort facilities while transporting guests
• Know about all daily resort functions, locations, and times for appropriate guest direction
• Maintain constant communication with Front Desk for itinerary changes and guest requests
• Check inside and out of vehicles for cleanliness
• Clean inside and outside of vehicles when needed
• Check all essential fluids including oil and brake fluid and check the tire pressure
• Report any problems with the vehicles to Guest Services Manager
• Fill out vehicle maintenance checklists as directed
• Report all accidents accurately filling out incident reports immediately
• Aid the Bell Desk in locating lost baggage through airlines and guest services desk at airport
• Drive safely at all times
• Assist with other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• One year of guest/customer service skills is preferred
• Previous experience within Hotel Guest Services and Front Office area is preferred
• Proficiency in Opera or other PMS systems is preferred
• Effective time management is required
• Immaculate grooming and personal presentation are expected
• Articulate communication skills and an understanding of luxury guest expectations are necessary
• Self-motivated and enjoy working autonomously are key traits
• Being friendly and engaging is important
• Coordinating various tasks simultaneously is a requirement
• Excellent English communication in both written and verbal forms is essential
