Guest Service Agent
About the role
The Renaissance Newport Beach is a world-class property within Pyramid Hotel Group, known for its exceptional service and memorable experiences. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Front Desk team.
Responsibilities
- Create a memorable first impression for guests by engaging in conversation and showing genuine interest.
- Provide exceptional customer service by checking in guests, registering them, and offering information about the hotel and local area.
- Resolve issues and "wow" guests during unexpected situations by demonstrating a proactive approach.
- Promote and sell special hotel programs to enhance the guest experience.
- Interact professionally with hotel/resort staff to assist other departments with necessary information.
- Maintain house bank, communicate pertinent information to the manager on duty, and follow set procedures for posting, charges, cashing checks, safe deposits, and refunds.
- Absorb and assist other departments as needed.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- A strong desire to make an impact on others.
- An outgoing and engaging personality.
- Strong computer skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
- Availability to work various shifts including weekends and holidays.
