Guest Room Attendant - Part Time

Cleaners

• Maintains and cleans hotel rooms, hallways, linen rooms, and employee and storage areas.
• Maintains all equipment used throughout the shift.
• Documents all duties accomplished during a working shift.
• Reports all safety hazards or maintenance deficiencies.
• Abides by all security measures.
• Greets all guests with the proper salutation and pleasant expression.
• Assists guests with issues within authority.
• Operates equipment including vacuum cleaners, cleaning supplies, mop, and broom.
• Communicates and understands matters of mutual concern in English.
• Operates with a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Six (6) months of previous cleaning experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn and follow direction.
• Ability to clean as directed at an acceptable performance rate.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
• Ability to operate equipment including vacuum cleaners, cleaning supplies, mop, and broom.
• Minimal ability to communicate and understand English, or prior experience as a guest room attendant if unable to speak or understand English.

Pay

Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience.
