The Holy Cross Hospital Guest Relations Department consists of colleagues who represent the first impressions made to patients and customers. These colleagues must convey a positive image that supports the organization's Mission and Core Values, focusing on providing top-notch patient care and customer service.

What You Will Do
- Utilize high-level interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence for effective communication with patients, customers, staff, and prospective clients.
- Handle all incoming phone calls, providing accurate information while complying with HIPAA standards; relay messages and transfer callers to appropriate personnel.
- Multi-task by greeting visitors and escorting them to various destinations within the organization.
- Navigate customers through appropriate channels to address complaints, including offering Guest Relations Management contact information and utilizing the chain of command for urgent issues.
- Maintain computer and IT skills to adapt to changes in software and operating systems.
- Ensure the main lobby is maintained to meet the organization's aesthetic standards.
- Communicate effectively with management and keep key personnel informed of important information.
- Display a professional demeanor consistent with Guest Relations associate expectations, including adherence to uniform requirements.
- Participate in mandatory education, competencies, and meetings/events related to Guest Relations.
- Contribute to cost containment initiatives that align with the organization's People-Centered 2020 strategic focus.
Minimum Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Excellent organizational skills are necessary.
- Ability to maneuver and type on a keyboard for work purposes.
- Ability to operate miscellaneous office equipment.
