About the role

The Guest Lead, reporting to Store Leadership, plays an important role in delivering and directing the activities required to achieve store goals. These activities include providing exceptional guest service, maintaining compelling visual presentations, ongoing associate development, and effective operational compliance.

Responsibilities

• Consistently deliver an exceptional guest experience
• Adhere to Altar’d State’s guest service standards
• Act as a positive role model and contribute to a culture of teamwork
• Coach associates on guest interactions and recognize great performance
• Demonstrate accountability and ownership of behaviors and results
• Embrace feedback and use it to drive positive change
• Lead through conflict and treat others with respect
• Maintain a clean and presentable store environment
• Assist in the construction of merchandising and window displays
• Represent the brand well by adhering to dress and grooming standards
• Complete opening/closing procedures as directed by management
• Adhere to loss prevention policies and procedures
• Participate in walk-throughs, communicate successes and opportunities
• Serve as leader on duty as needed
• Adhere to organizational Code of Conduct

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Previous retail experience preferred
• Physical ability to perform tasks, which could require prolonged standing, sitting, reaching, kneeling, and/or squatting frequently
• May be required to occasionally climb ladders and descend stairs frequently, depending on location
• Must be able to lift and carry 30 pounds regularly without assistance
