About the role

Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Longowal, Distt. Sangrur (Punjab) is a Centrally Funded Technical Institute established by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. The Institute invites applications for Guest Faculty positions in various disciplines.

Eligibility/Qualification

- BE/B. Tech and ME/M. Tech/MS, or Integrated M. Tech. in relevant subject with First Class or equivalent grade point. - Good academic record as defined by the concerned university with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade point scale) at the Master’s Degree level and First Class at the Graduation Level in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. - Must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC, like SLET/SET, or have a Ph. D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time as the case may be.

Job/Position Description

The Institute intends to prepare a panel of Guest Faculty in various disciplines for the Academic Session 2024-2025. Walk-in-interviews for preparing panels will be held on the specified dates.
