Guest Educators

About the role

District 65 has PreK-8th grade students. Guest Educators step in for primary classroom teachers when they are absent.

Responsibilities

• Classroom Management - Ensure the classroom is a safe and productive learning environment
• Following teacher directed lesson plans and keep attendance records
• Assist students with schoolwork
• Support and enforce all school rules and regulations
• Other duties as assigned by the building principal and administration

Qualifications

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License or Substitute License registered for Region 5
• Demonstrate consistent work attendance and punctuality
• Maintain student and staff confidentiality

Required Licensure

To be eligible for the Guest Educator position, applicants must hold a current and valid license from the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE). Specifically, Guest Educators are required to possess a Substitute (SUB), Professional Educator License (PEL), or Teaching Certification (STS) and be licensed in Region 5. Compensation

Daily Rate: $150.00
