Guest Coordinator PT 2nd Shift
Highlights
The Guest Coordinator/Ambassador is responsible for welcoming guests in a friendly, efficient, and courteous manner. The Coordinator greets every external guest from the parking areas, into the facility, and before departure from the facility. The Coordinator assists guests with inquiries, directions, and initial questions regarding the facility or services. The Guest Coordinator supports the visitor management plan to contribute to a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. They issue visitor badges through the Visitor Badge software, monitor assigned areas for compliance, and may escort patients and visitors to areas in the facility. During non-peak times, they assist with quick registration, specimen registrations, kiosk operations, and perform other duties within scope.
Education / Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent required
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Ability to provide a positive customer service experience to guests, visitors, and patients
- Knowledge of HIPAA standards and regulations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, guests, and hospital personnel
- Ability to show compassion and sensitivity for patient comfort
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Knowledge of basic Windows based PC operations
- Ability to work in a 24/7 environment including weekends and holidays
- Ability to work in multiple locations
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements
- Sitting for 60% of the workday and mobility 40% of the workday
- Occasional stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching
- Frequent reaching, use of hands, and repetitive actions
- Occasional lifting or carrying up to 25 pounds, pushing/pulling up to 150 pounds
- Continuous visual acuity at close and distant range
- Minimal noise levels
- Much exposure to computer work
- Occasional exposure to risk of electrical shock
- Some exposure to infectious diseases while performing job-related tasks
- Som exposure to hazardous chemicals
- Some exposure to radiation
