Guest Coordinator
General Summary & Scope
The Guest Coordinator is responsible for engaging with guests and promoting Ulta Beauty services through one-on-one interactions, both over the phone and in-person. They represent Ulta Beauty's image, products, and culture, supporting the Experience Manager and Assistant Services Manager in performance, people, and process.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Contribute to meeting or exceeding retail and service sales goals, guest loyalty, and in-store events.
Provide exceptional guest service by acknowledging guests in the Salon, Haircare, and Skincare areas, offering friendly, prompt, and courteous service.
Support the services team by answering phone calls, addressing concerns, managing the booking system, and suggesting add-on services.
Inform guests of promotions and events, and provide knowledgeable, professional product and service recommendations.
Influence service providers by executing appointment pages, rebooking, and acquiring new guests, and staying informed about industry trends.
Maintain prompt attendance and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and standards.
People
Create awareness of stylists' goals and collaborate with the team to drive success.
Build guest relationships through consultations and ensure a 360° experience.
Identify guests' needs and develop professional relationships with peers and brand partners.
Share guest loyalty program benefits and assist with supply needs.
Attend mandatory trainings and meetings for continuous professional development.
Process
Ensure compliance with Ulta Beauty's policies, procedures, and standards.
Follow safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures before, during, and after services.
Utilize Ulta Beauty scheduling tools to recommend schedule adjustments and maintain guest-readiness.
Communicate supply needs to the EM and contribute to maintaining outstanding store operational standards.
Execute other operational tasks as directed.
Job Qualifications
High school diploma preferred, with 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
Proficient with basic technology (e.g., Point of Sale system, Apple devices, Services Booking System).
Demonstrate significant competency in sales, products, and service.
Strong communication skills and ability to troubleshoot.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Special Position Requirements
Flexible schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Continuous mobility, standing, bending, pulling, pushing, crouching, reaching, stooping, and twisting.
Frequent lifting and moving up to 10 lbs.
Continuous coordination and manipulation of objects.
Use of a computer, telephonic devices, and related office supplies.
Pay Range
$15.92 - $20.00 / Hour
Working Conditions
