About the Role

As the Senior Client Advisor, you are the Gucci brand ambassador responsible for achieving sales objectives by deepening client connections to Gucci. You provide every client with best-in-class service, elevated and unique experiences, and strong relationships. You aspire to step into store leadership by supporting management and store functions.

Responsibilities

  • Client Journey:
    • Proactively engage and establish strong relationships with clients, making them feel valued and at ease from the first point of contact, whether in-store or remotely.
    • Deliver a personalized, client-centric experience to drive repeat business and enhance brand loyalty.
    • Build rapport by discovering client needs and aspirations, demonstrating generosity, and exceeding expectations.
    • Develop the client base by recruiting new clients and elevating existing ones to the top tier of segmentation.
    • Leverage in-store technology to ensure a smooth, pleasant, and relevant client experience.
    • Collect meaningful client information to understand preferences and customize service.
    • Add value to the client experience by providing insights on local lifestyle trends (theater, arts, travel, etc.).
  • Sales Excellence:
    • Drive individual and collective sales results by monitoring KPIs and maximizing selling opportunities in-store and remotely.
    • Provide exceptional client experiences through hospitality, luxury gestures, and product rituals.
    • Use effective selling techniques in a natural, warm, and elevated manner to drive sales.
    • Select products matched to client needs and use cross-selling and upselling techniques.
    • Proactively promote virtual appointments and distance sales to create selling opportunities.
    • Maintain a “One-Gucci-Client” perspective across all transactions (purchases, exchanges, returns, repairs).
    • Guide and inspire clients to make informed purchasing decisions.
    • Foster open communication with team members, collaborating and proposing solutions.
    • Assist as the first point of contact in resolving common client issues.
  • Brand & Product:
    • Engage clients using storytelling, expert product knowledge, and honest styling advice.
    • Attend trainings to stay updated on product knowledge and selling techniques.
    • Stay informed about fashion trends, competitors, and client segmentation to offer tailored solutions.
    • Combine styling knowledge with product recommendations to best serve clients.
    • Embody Gucci’s philosophy, values, and lifestyle with enthusiasm.
    • Support onboarding and training for new Client Advisors to ensure brand initiatives are understood.
  • Operational Excellence:
    • Actively participate in store operations, including stock maintenance, inventories, and administration.
    • Adhere to policies and procedures, focusing on loss prevention and operational excellence.
    • Accurately process POS transactions and capture client information.
    • Contribute to upholding visual display standards for all products.
    • Follow Gucci grooming standards at all times.
    • Ensure optimal product levels on the sales floor in line with corporate policies.
    • Manage general store administration and functionality.
    • Perform management functions at the POS, including approval of returns and exchanges.
    • Perform opening and closing procedures, including securing store assets.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of luxury fashion sales experience, preferably in a similar role or customer service setting.
  • Passion for relationship building and people engagement.
  • High degree of ethics, professionalism, integrity, and ability to inspire trust.
  • Proven ability to perform complex tasks with accuracy and commitment.
  • Ability to collaborate with teammates and act as a role model.
  • Proven track record of driving and exceeding sales results and building client relationships.
  • Deep knowledge of and passion for fashion and luxury.
  • Flexibility to work a retail schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Excellent commercial awareness and client-focused attitude.
  • High flexibility and adaptability to different clients and complex situations.
  • Strong communication skills, both internally and externally.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, dynamic environment.
