About the role
We’re looking for a talented Contract Recruiter to partner closely with our growing sales organization, focusing on hiring across our sales and renewals teams. This role will build strong pipelines of top-tier candidates and help scale high-performing teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. It’s ideal for someone eager to grow their career while making a direct impact on Samsara’s continued success.
This role is open to candidates residing in the US or Canada, excluding the San Francisco Bay, NYC, and Washington, D.C. metro areas.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruiting: create and implement strategies to build diverse pipelines through sourcing, referrals, research, events, and social media.
- Find and engage passive candidates using creative sourcing techniques and help them envision life at Samsara.
- Manage multiple requisitions and candidates during high-volume periods while ensuring a flawlessly positive candidate experience.
- Partner closely with hiring leaders to understand their teams and goals; organize and facilitate interview debriefs and drive offer approval, extension, and negotiation.
- Identify closing strategies for offers and proactively provide candidates with the information they need to make their decision.
- Use data to influence decisions: address and unblock data analysis challenges, extract insights, and communicate findings effectively.
- Tailor written and verbal communication to different audiences and situations.
- Manage stakeholders and be seen as a trusted partner; identify friction points, set expectations, and drive initiatives to overcome obstacles.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies and marketing programs to build diverse candidate pipelines; advise on structured interview processes to mitigate unconscious bias.
- Coach leaders and interviewers in inclusive interviewing best practices and objective feedback.
- Track pipeline data and provide consistent updates to hiring managers; maintain high attention to detail in Greenhouse and other recruiting tools.
- Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally.
Requirements
- 4+ years of recruiting experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to create, measure, and scale effective workflows between candidates, hiring managers, and the recruiting team.
- Proven strategic sourcing skills.
- Team player with an eye for talent who loves connecting people and opportunities.
- Able to confidently represent Samsara with professionalism both internally and externally.
- Target-driven, detail-oriented, approachable, and able to uplift others.
- Previous tech experience preferred; unwavering ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Greenhouse or equivalent ATS.
- BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.
Pay
Annual base salary range: $83,538—$126,360 USD. This role is also eligible for an initial RSU grant with no vesting cliff and ongoing refresh opportunities tied to performance, subject to plan terms.
