Responsibilities

  • SUPPORT CLASSROOM ROUTINES AND HELP WITH DAILY ACTIVITIES, MEALS, AND TRANSITIONS.
  • FOLLOW LICENSING, GRANT, AND CENTER GUIDELINES TO ENSURE THE HEALTH AND SAFETY OF ALL CHILDREN.
  • AID IN CLASSROOM SETUP, ORGANIZATION, AND MAINTAINING A CLEAN LEARNING SPACE.
  • BUILD POSITIVE RELATIONSHIPS WITH CHILDREN AND HELP IMPLEMENT FUN, AGE-APPROPRIATE ACTIVITIES.

Requirements

A high school diploma or GED (early childhood coursework or experience preferred).

A passion for helping children learn and grow.

Dependability, energy, and a collaborative spirit.

Ability to work indoors/outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP)

The Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) is Michigan’s state-funded, nationally recognized Pre-K program for 4-year-olds. As a GSRP Aide, you will support the Lead and Associate Teachers in preparing children for Kindergarten and beyond by helping create a safe, engaging, and nurturing classroom environment.
