GSLP: Scenic Lift Attendant

Job Summary

As a Lift Attendant you are responsible for welcoming customers by greeting them and offering assistance, safely loading and unloading guests from the SkyLift chairs, promoting safety procedures, and making decisions concerning guests' safety while exhibiting excellent customer service.

Essential Job Functions

• Assist guests on and off the scenic chairlift safely
• Start, stop, and adjust speed of lifts
• Ensure guests are safely seated and using safety bars
• Keep terminal area clean and orderly
• Promote safety procedures at all times
• Perform maintenance in terminal areas and other areas as needed
• Assist in daily lift inspections and preparation
• Provide resort information for guests
• Complete any other tasks assigned by the Shift Supervisor
• Work scheduled shifts and follow uniform policy procedures
• Attend required trainings and meetings
• Perform end‑of‑shift cleanup or closing tasks related to the shift

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED
• Reliable transportation
• Available to work days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and flexible with schedule changes
• Follow all safety procedures and precautions
• Competent in all evacuation procedures through training
• Adhere to policies and procedures in the GSLP Handbook

Preferred:

• Enjoy working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Strong customer service orientation and enjoyment of interacting with guests
• Previous experience in chairlift operations

Physical Demands

• Stand for 6–8 hours at a time
• Lift up to 25 lb

Work Environment

This is an outdoor position with exposure to the elements at times.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

Full‑time, year‑round day or night and weekend position. Overtime may or may not be available.

Travel

No traveling is required for this position.
