About the role

Join our dynamic team at Smoky Mountain Smash, located in the breathtaking Gatlinburg Skypark. We are seeking a passionate and skilled Food and Beverage Cook to deliver exceptional culinary experiences to our guests.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of burgers, sides, and other menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Ensure all food items are prepared and presented to the highest quality standards, maintaining consistency in taste and appearance.
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines, keeping a clean and organized workspace.
• Assist in monitoring inventory levels, restocking supplies as needed, and minimizing waste.
• Work closely with other kitchen staff and front-of-house team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, addressing any concerns or special requests.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment properly, reporting any issues or malfunctions to the supervisor.

Requirements

• Required current and valid ABC card from the TABC or ability to acquire in the first 30 days.
• Previous experience as a cook or in a similar culinary role preferred.
• Strong culinary skills, with a focus on grill and fryer techniques.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Familiarity with inventory management and kitchen equipment.
• Positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a team-oriented mindset.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift heavy objects.
• Ability to work in a hot and fast-paced environment.
