GSE Mechanic - Seattle International Airport - SEA

Responsibilities

• Inspect and identify defective or broken parts on vehicles
• Make repairs to gas/diesel engines, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual quality control checks on refueling equipment
• Maintain records relating to maintenance
• Drive and operate refueling equipment vehicles
• Ensure the aircraft services team can operate effectively by providing proper preventative care and timely repairs to broken equipment
• Ensure a safe and secure work environment

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), or related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3 to 5 years of mechanical experience
• Ability to proficiently read, write, and speak English
• Available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays
• Comfortable working in all weather conditions
• Able to obtain and maintain all required airports and customs badges/seals

• Must possess mechanical tools and toolbox

Pay

• New hire: $366 per month
• $371 per month after 6 months
• $381 per month after 12 months
• $392 per month after 18 months
• $403 per month after 24 months
• $41 per month after 36 months

Schedule

• Variable shifts including weekends and holidays
