GSE Maintenance Mechanic (A3, 3rd Shift)

Responsibilities

• Provide a variety of services to include performing preventative maintenance on ground support equipment, preforming daily scheduled work, as well as work that needs immediate attention due to the needs of the operation.
• Safety first focused approach to conducting work.
• Possess a full complement of personal hand tools and ability to furnish hand tools up to 1/2” drive.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on assigned equipment and components.
• Utilize hand tools, electrical testing equipment, and computers to diagnose and repair equipment.
• Operate a large assortment of equipment in their job function.
• Wear applicable personal protective equipment, and follow rules and regulations related to a detailed lockout/tag out program.
• Understand and interact with a computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Knowledge of service and repair diesel powered equipment.
• Knowledge of service and repair of mobile HVAC systems.
• Knowledge of service and repair of complex Hydraulic systems.
• Knowledge of service and repair of electrical systems.
• Ability to weld.
• Proficient in reading and comprehending electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Proficient in reading and comprehending Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Detail oriented and a self-starter with a positive attitude.
• Work on a regular and timely basis and complete the scheduled workday on a consistent basis.
• Understand and have the ability to interact with a computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).

Skills

• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Ability to work well individually and in a team setting.
• Fluent English.
