GS Steamers - Server

Responsibilities

• Greeting Customers: Welcoming guests as they arrive and seating them in a friendly manner.
• Taking Guests Orders: Accurately taking food and drink orders from customers and providing information about menu items, also a knowledge on wine, beer and liquor.
• Maintaining Dining Experience: Delivering orders to tables in a timely fashion, ensuring the guests have everything they need. Regularly checking on guests to ensure satisfaction, addressing any additional requests or concerns. We want to make every guest a returning regular.
• Handling Payments: Processing customer payments, including cash and credit card transactions, and providing change when necessary. Also being able to operate a POS computer system as well as technical handheld POS system.
• Maintaining Cleanliness: Keeping tables, chairs, and dining areas clean and organized, as well as managing the cleanliness of service areas.
• Adhering to Health and Safety Regulations: Following all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment.
• Upselling: Recommending menu items and specials to increase sales and enhance customer experience.
• Collaborating with Kitchen Staff: Communicating effectively with kitchen staff regarding orders and any special requests or dietary restrictions.

Requirements

• Must be friendly, attentive, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.

Pay

Part Time (20 hr/week): $10,764
Full Time (40hr/week): $21,528
