About the role

ClassDojo is looking for a Product Leader for the Monsterverse to own kid growth. This includes running the product team that drives top-of-funnel growth for Dojo Islands and coordinating the cross-company roadmap to grow Monthly Active Kids.

Responsibilities

  • Runs the product team that owns top-of-funnel growth for Dojo Islands
  • Drives the cross-company roadmap to grow Monthly Active Kids
  • Works closely with co-founders and cross-functional teams to invent and test long-term ideas
  • Owns the kid growth funnel end-to-end: awareness, install, activation, and early retention for Dojo Islands
  • Coordinates across the flagship app, school network, and Islands

Requirements

You must have ownership of a top-line growth metric end-to-end. Experience leading initiatives that measurably moved DAU/WAU, install conversion, or retention on a consumer product is required. You should be able to clearly articulate before → after changes.

  • Gaming and/or kid-product experience or a close equivalent
  • Experience with cross-functional growth loops such as viral mechanics, referral systems, or in-product distribution
  • Experience with kids' products, consumer social, or platforms with T&S / trust and safety considerations

Qualifications

You should have experience shipping at scale in games, social, or gamified products. You need to operate at both the strategic and the detail level. You should drive a cross-org roadmap and write your own SQL. You should be self-sufficient with data, capable of writing queries, building dashboards, and analyzing funnels without dedicated support.

  • Structured problem-solving in ambiguity
  • Ability to break complex problems down, synthesize quant and qual, and produce simple, actionable plans
  • Experience with AI as a core part of your product process and workflow

Skills

You should be comfortable with AI as a core part of your product process and workflow. You should be able to write SQL and build dashboards to analyze funnels.

Benefits

ClassDojo offers competitive compensation based on factors including geographic location, experience, and skillset. Salaries range from $183,000 - $250,000 (USD) depending on state and location.

Pay

Salary ranges (United States): CA, WA, NY, NJ, CT states: $215,000 - $250,000 (USD) All other states in the US: $183,000 - $212,500 (USD)

Schedule

We are a distributed company and hire regardless of location, as long as you are willing to have significant hours overlap with one of the Americas time zones.
